Interesting fact about this terrace. All of the houses are back to front. The front door and hallway is at the back of the house. The back door is at the front.

I guess they looked at the houses, nestled above the trees, overlooking the ridge and dreamt it was like a landscape with the houses facing the ridge. The road, Melville Place is behind the houses effectively.
